This service is an extension of existing situations where we do deployments for city and Police owners of our equipment. It allows you to utilise the equipment without the need to purchase, if you don’t have the ability to set up the equipment yourselves in an ongoing manner.

You may have certain sites that are regularly vandalized that Police simply cant patrol in a manner that leads to this interaction efficiently and effectively simply due to resourcing.

This service gives you the opportunity to deal with these offenders right now before their individual damages reach the tens of thousands of dollars. Additional cumulative damage from associates and co offenders is hard to estimate but also a very real and growing concern financially and simply extends the damage time scale.

By providing this as a service reduces the long process of purchases where action needs to be taken.

The service we are offering requires the following… 
 

  • An initial meeting and overview of the sites or hotspots in your city and suitability.
  • Discussion with local Police with an understanding of their ability to respond immediately on instant alerts that come through from each site being monitored.
  • A MOU between Police and the city regarding the project.
  • City to prepare sites nominated for rapid apprehension cameras.
  • Zero media attention or unnecessary mention to other departments where potential leaks may occur.
  • Some understanding of your local offenders and their to date damage. (Assuming no audit is done)
 
 

We can drop 10 -20 or more Tripwire units covertly into your city quickly and discreetly which will instantly send live images and alerts to your local patrols or police. Within days we’d suggest your Police would have received dozens of alerts from these locations with a real means of interacting with your core offenders which was never before possible.

This new service comes from the request of cities who wish their issues to be dealt with swiftly due to an ever increasing waste of funds to removal contractors with little or no decline in damage or ability to deal with the offenders, (the root cause of the issues) live and on site. 
 
 
 

HOW THE SERVICE WORKS 
 

  • We charge an initial $300.00 fee for reviewing your hot spots, offenders and preliminary discussions with your Police, Buildings management staff and others with a view of deployments. Half day.
  • We deploy on the number of sites you require with the number of Tripwire units you wish
  • We provide one or two Blackberry handsets to your Police and train them in receiving the alerts as they arrive.
  • We can also ensure that all alerts are sent to multiple recipients including your Police, Code enforcement, property managers or others live and for review.
  • The service lasts for a pre set period of two weeks with an option for extending the service further.
 

Cost of the service 
 

  • Initial consult, review of sites, offenders and discussions with Police and city departments - $300.00
  • Covert deployment works on each site 1-2 Tripwire units - $200.00 per location. If special hide designs are required to suit a particular site, we charge a fee for materials and time to create these hides.
  • Weekly rental of units including data / image transmission costs. $ 200.00 per unit.
  • Weekly Rental of Blackberry handsets for Police to receive instant alerts - $50.00 per week.
  • Brief and train local Police in receiving instant alerts from your locations. - $150.00.
  • Optional service – We monitor all alerts coming in from the site locations and make contact with regional Police as they occur live from the site. Cost for monitoring - $150.00 per day ( 5 sites )
  • Optional service – Conduct “mini’ GPS audit of core city affected locations and document all offences to GRIP database prior to deployment works. (This prepares all data in only core locations so evidence is ready)

Includes GPS database entry, review of pre determined sites, photography, analysis and offender profiling of pre set locations with a view of gathering intelligence PRIOR to Tripwire deployment for obvious reasons. The cost of this service is $500.00 per day if requested. 
 

Example – 2 week 5 site deployment. 
 

Lets say you have 5 locations known to be hot spots that are suitable for the units to be hidden covertly and you decide to place a total of 5 Tripwires total in these 5 locations over a 2 week period.

Your local Police are involved and 2 Blackberry handsets are requested for their patrol Sergeants. 
 

Initial city review charge and site reviews - $300.00

Deployment charge – 5 sites                      - $1000.00

2 week rental on 5 Tripwire units             - $2000.00

Blackberry handset rental x 2                  - $200.00

Police training                                          - $150.00 
 

Total                                                          - $3650.00 + gst if applicable.

Discounts apply for longer term deployments and ongoing movement of equipment from site to site. 
 

Additional charges are applicable for regional or interstate jobs to cover travel costs.

Larger international projects are project managed and relevant costs are provided after initial consultation. 
 

We would suggest that over this 2 week deployment your local Police could detain multiple core offenders who potentially are worth tens of thousands of dollars in annual damage to your city. 
 

NOTE – This service is not a security service and we have no interest in apprehending your offenders as that is not part of our brief. The service and equipment provides the instant ability for your local officers to attend in real time to issues and City concerns they never had an ability to before.
